Experience

Michael is co-founder of Nexus Solutions with 20 years of experience in helping entities develop and implement comprehensive facility improvement plans. Using his expertise in school finance, legislative, and legal matters he creatively solves clients’ financial and technical challenges, while building administrative and public consensus. To date, he has developed $800M worth of projects in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

In 2011, Michael worked closely with the Wisconsin Legislature to amend Wisconsin Statute 121.91 to enable Revenue Limit Exemption proceeds to be used for debt service on capital improvement projects.

Brent is co-founder of Nexus Solutions with 20 years of experience in helping public entities develop and implement comprehensive facility improvement plans. Solving clients’ financial and technical challenges, while building administrative and public consensus is at the center of Brent’s responsibilities. His projects have focused on master planning, life cycle analysis, energy conservation, sustainable new construction, indoor environmental quality, and deferred maintenance. He has led development and implementation of more than $800M in high-performance school projects, including the first LEED certified building in the State of Minnesota.

Experience

Russ is co-founder of Nexus Solutions with 24 years of experience in helping public entities develop and implement comprehensive facility improvement plans. Russ is responsible for analyzing mechanical systems and developing cost-effective improvements during the in-depth analysis stage. He is a recognized innovator and expert in mechanical renovation and sustainability projects. His past works includes being the Engineer of Record for Minnesota’s first LEED Certified school in 2001.
